    Interesting vacation we're having

So late afternoon today, just as we were planning to leave for an event, the York, ME area got hit with micro-burst tornadoes. The damage is amazing - wires down everywhere, trees that were here during the American Revolution are no more. The saddest part is that the main burst hit the York historic district. We saw a car next to a church that had been completely flattened by a 3 foot dismeter tree that was uprooted. I honestly have no idea even what kind of car it once was. I just hope no one was inside

Had some of those storms down here yesterday evening as well. Tewksberry supposedly got hit and I know Tyngsboro on the other side of the bridge than me did as well. Then it went up into Nashua and Hudson. SpitBrook and DW had a couple feet of water after it FlashFlooded.
Well I hope the rest of your vacation is fun.

yeah it's been an intense week for storms for sure.......our house is normally very dry, but we did get some rain in the roof last night , I guess 3 " in an hour will do that

Looks like we have another day in store today with some storms....stay safe out there!!!

Lots of scenes like this up here. Fortunately most of them don't include cars under trees.

George, there is more good firewood here right now than you could transport in your truck in a YEAR! Lu Ann took the pic this morning and yeah, we don't own or know how to use photoshop. I'm sure the owner of the car wishes it was a photoshop!
