Weather was good when it needed to be, showers @ night. Along with the Shelby reunion, there was a "tri-power 406" reunion. I entered my '67 vert with tri-power in that class. Along with similiar classes they had a general Big Block reunion to include the real muscle ie 390, 427, 428's and "cammer" motors. Serious muscle & cars. Well in my class for tri-power I took 1st. It was an honor to be around all that history. At noon on Sat, they had everyone start and rev their engine for a minute in honor of Carol Shebly. Ya had to be there to feel it.
Notes: it was announced that there was between 500-600 SHELBY's alone both old & new. Amazing. Total cars entered was well over 3,000.
I only got a few pics I'll update later. Tied.

It's nice to get recognized at a national events. The hard work pays off. Now I'll just drive and enjoy rest of summer. Lots of serious $$$'s there.
