    So close and then,

OUT GO THE LIGHTS !!! I was 60% done detailing Todds red convertible Mustang and we lost the power !!! It has come pretty far, if we just does not loose the power a couple more hours and it would be done. Will finish in a.m.. Here are some before and after pics of the first step in the paint correcting process I did on his car.As you can see there were some pretty deep scratches, some areas need to be wet sanded and then done again, but not going down that road,...yet. Got half of the car done with the second step of the paint correction, then lost the power.Need a 3 step on his car, then will put some glaze on it, and then wax it, and it will be done. And then on to detailing the engine bay, trunk, door jams, wheel wheels, under the car..........Will post some pics tom. when were done.Too much light on the quarter panel in one of the pics, no his car did not turn pink!! 67 stang detail 002.jpg67 stang detail 003.jpg67 stang detail 004.jpg67 stang detail 005.jpg67 stang detail 006.jpg67 stang detail 007.jpg

Thank you so much Jimmy. Came out great. Got a couple more picks.
The first one is taken after all the cutting and before the wax, the second is after the wax. Notice the flag in the paint.
Then a couple others that I took outside too.
Learned a lot this weekend and it will be at WOW on Thursday (just not as clean when I get there if the snow comes)

Thanks for the compliments. I actually love doing the detail work and look forward to seeing the end result, especially on peoples faces when they see there vehicle when its complete. Pictures do not do justice to the work involved. I could have spent many more hours to make it 100%, but it will work for the time being. I do not think I am every really done. My moto with my detailing is " Perfect.. just means I am getting close, but not there yet".
