I have mine on my DD right behind the rearview miror (so center upper of the windshield) and on my mustang I have put it on my front push out window (which I guess you can only do if you have an older stang!)

Welcome! Mine is in the lower corner of the windshield on the passenger side. Only reason I picked that side is I notice it less when I'm driving than when it was on the driver side.
