Drove 10 hours to pick a TMA Turbo for the 03 3.8 Mustang....

please let me know how this comes out, i have heen trying to talk my grangson into this instead of selling the car,time ,degree of diffeculty,and results,is it too much for a kid or comare it to a 5.0,,,,and cost thanx billl

Hey Bill,

What is your grandson trying to do? You can pick up a preety nice 87-93 5.0 for like 4K. This kit was 3200$ used. I have about 6-7K into the engine.. Should handle around 550-600 safely..

If you run a stock block on 99-04 3.8 you can push around 370-390 RWHP around 8-10 PSI with no problems... wouldnt do more then that.

In terms of the install, this turbo will be much easier for me as I already have the Vortech stuff installed... I dont have to tap the oil pan, or move the AC or deal with anything like that this time around (except the ABS).
