2020 Car Shows Updates from Wes
All,
I'm on his email list, thought I pass info along, Wes runs Skip's Mega Cruz & Newburyport shows:
Well, as you know there has not been a lot of good news in 2020 regarding Car Shows and Cruise Nights. We are going to end this list on positive note.
• Downtown Newburyport Show – Cancelled
• Downtown Amesbury Show - Cancelled
• Skips Cruise Night Merrimac MA- unlikely
• Haley’s Ice Cream Newburyport – Cancelled
• Lena’s Cruise Night Salisbury - Cancelled
• Aroma Joe’s Salisbury – Cancelled
On Saturday August 15th, 10AM – 2PM there will be an all vehicle/all years Car Show to benefit and held at the North East Motor Sports Museum, 922 Route 106 in Loudon, NH. I will be hosting this important show. This is a great destination event for you or your Car Club. Benefits for your $20 donation include…
• 2 passes to the Racing Museum
• Loaded goody bag at the front gate
• Giveaways, available 50/50 raffle, music & food trucks
• Cool “Best Sounding” car contest
• 17 Quality Trophies including 3 foot Best of Show
Again, this all benefits the Non-Profit N.E.M.S Museum. Rain date Sunday August 16th.
We are also looking at developing other Show Car Events. More to come!
Best Regards
Wes Pettengill

I do as well, but still.Great guys in that club but I get the feeling if you win a couple times, they like to spread it around so you cant win all the time. 2 thoughts to that: it should give other people a desire to make their car better and second , if you win to often cause you have a nice car worthy of a trophy, but have to dedicate your day to just get looked over, thats not cool either. If you have a nice car you should get what you deserve.
Unfortunatly the club is so big and very few trophies thats its time for them to have catagories for vehicles. 17 trophies for 340 cars is rough.

Car shows
With the lack of shows this year because of Covid, wanted to let everyone know of the upcoming one Sept 12 @ Deerfield fairgrounds 9-3. Size of the fairgrounds should make it safe for people to attend and keep distances
