    Let the mods begin....

Just wanted to post up some pics of my new rims I had installed last week. Really changed the look completely. Did not like the black rims from the factory on my blue car, IMHO it makes the car to "dark" looking for my tastes. Not that I don't like the look of black rims, just not on my car. Decided on some 2 piece aluminum TSW rims that had the same honeycomb style of the Shelby rims from the factory, but added a little pop with the Hyper Silver spokes and a stainless steel lip. All chrome rims would have been to much since there is no chrome anywhere on the car. The silver spokes match the silver in the Shelby badges and having a Track Pack on the car really limits the depth of the wheel because of the big brakes and dampers so no real deep dish rims work. Also just received my JLT Big Air intake I had painted in blue as well as a JLT painted blue radiator cover. Both will visit my airbrush friend as well as a trip to the dyno to see Pete. Will post up some pics as my new project continues....IMG_3209.JPGIMG_3210.JPGIMG_3200.JPGIMG_3203.JPG

Thanks. very hard to get rims for Shelby's with trak pak's. Wanted to stick with the "honeycomb" design of the original wheel but get something with a lip to it. It's cool that it 's two piece so the spokes actually sit above the wheel lip. Pain in the ass to clean though, but I can handle that !!
