My Fox with it's new go-fast goodies will make a debut at the show next week.
Here's a quick teaser preview. (Don't mind the dirty car and engine. That should be solved by Sunday!)
You definitely want to turn up the sound!

Got it tuned at Peformance Dyno last night. Not huge numbers, but a considerable increase from where it was. (About 100 each hp & tq from stock IIRC)
253 rwhp, 293 rwtq
Drives WAY different. Smooth and the power comes on strong and stays there. The torque curve is pretty flat, so it just pulls all the way up to shift and
the HP curve doesn't really fall off either.
Mods include:
GT40 Tubular upper intake
GT40 lower intake (port matched to heads)
GT40 heads
Trickflow Stage One cam
BBK 1501 70mm Throttle Body

Good stuff, Jim! Can't wait to hear it and get a look at it. But with that setup you would do better with 30 lb injectors.

nice set up jim, some solid #'s too
There's just nothing that sounds quite like a properly set up 80's era 302

I don't know about that. The dyno sheet is solid all the way through the range. I don't think its coming close to over working the injectors. No bobbles in the HP or TQ curves.
Neither Rick or Pete even hinted at needing 30lb.
It sounds awesome -- way more baddass than it actually is.....

OK, but I have a very similar setup with a 75 mm TB and it definitely needed 30 lb, and now has 35 lb and ran better with them.

That sounds really nice Jim, lord knows I'm a sucka for a lumpy cam....
