Torque specs on 2012 Front Shock nuts

I installed the "Steeda" strut brace on my 2012 V6 Yesterday afternoon. I have been checking that the nuts are still tight. I had no settings in the directions so I choose 30 ft-lbs of torque. I have found that I can turn them 1/4 of turn before the torque wrench clicks. So I stop being so "thorough" and leave them alone because they are fine. Or do I need to torque them to a higher number?
    Thanks

I'm surprised they weren't listed in the instructions. When in doubt call the manufacturer. They should be able to provide the info to you.

    Torque specs are important.

Need to buy a service manual.....

Did a little diggin' on the net today and found this post http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...rut-brace.html So I over tightened by about 4 ft-lbs. Thanks for the replies. See you all next Saturday.
