    180 mph 67 Mustang

Last week I got to spend some time chewing the fat with Gene Winfield, one of the original California customizers and gear heads. He not only makes things look easy, but at 88 years old, he keeps a schedule to make a person half his age blush. Last fall he put his 358 cu in Yates NASCAR engine in a friends mustang and went measured mile racing. I'm gonna try to put the link here to some awesome vid shot while Gene did the run. How's that for inspirational???

George, you are slipping, this is a '68, this clip has a really cool speed shot around the 6 minute mark, Gene told me it was sliding so bad that he had to pull the chute to straighten it up. Again, very impressive man for sure..
