Oil Change @ dealer, what to expect to pay?

So for my 01 cherokee, I usually do it myself or go to valvoline. For my new 5.0 'stang, I'll go to the dealer while its under warrantee. What would you expect to pay for a filter, and 8 quarts of synthetic?

Cool Well, sometimes I go to the dealer

OK, My blue 2006 has never been back to the dealer for any reason.

But I have had other Mustangs (and other Fords) under warranty that I let the dealer touch.
Try to get a discount coupon somewhere.
They used to send me one from Autofair in Manchester for my Ranger at least once a year (sometimes for free oil changes).
I never had a problem with the service dept. there (unlike other places). Maybe I was just lucky.
Anyway ,in the end just bite the bullet. It will cost more than DIY.
If you are going to the dealer it will cost more (but not a lot more) than the cheapy-change places and they will take care of all the warranty records.

In my 45 plus yrs of driving and several cars in family, I've always done my own. I don't believe you have to go to dealer to maintain warranty, just keep slips you've had it done. For price try calling or perhaps go on web site of place your interested in using.
