    Windham DI car show 6/23

Hey, wanted to put a post here for the Windham DI Car Show this weekend. It's run by NHMC'ers Chris & Terri Pessinis (with the orange Shelby GT500 Supersnake 'vert) and benefits the Windham "Destination Imagination" teams.

It's this saturday, June 23 starting at 10:00. Registration is $10.

Details and a video of last year's show are here: http://www.windhamdi.org/CarShowPromo.html

Looks like 50 % chance of rain..........Maybe we should think about Sunday instead ? Can you still have the show even with passing showers ? If so I'd like to go .

For Sat, ONLY a SLIGHT chance of late afternoon scattered shower. Remote chance Car gets a sprinkle, it won't melt.

I went, but too many people must have been afraid of the slight chance of rain. Sadly only about 50 cars showed up.
I think they probably lost money on this one -- too bad since it benefited a worthy cause. Especially since it didn't rain and was actually a beautiful day.

I ended up being the only Mustang in attendance --and one of only a handful of Fords. Ya'll owe me big for representing since I was forced to hang out with the Vette owners.

Well, Jim, you would not have been the only Mustang but for PFH. I would have come for sure. But we made some good progress on the final finishing up of PFH so while I know I would have enjoyed the show, I have no regrets.
