    Worth the money?

Very Rare. Is it worth the money for the collection?

I'd think if all your bills paid, and had a family room that needed something different, then maybe. Question is, "do you need it"? Not many folks watching it best I can tell.

Only if you have money to burn. I suspect it will be fun to play with for a week, fun to show off for a month or two then... soon to be followed by buyers remorse.

Those are super rare. They were made as special dealer promos -- and very rarely come up for sale. From what I've heard they are quite possibly the most accurate scale engine model ever made. A couple of people on SVTP have them.
If I had the money, I'd be all over it...

Sadly I agree with Bruce on this point to some extent.
The price is a bit rich IMHO.
Someone has listed on EBay the same version of this engine except it's for the 99 cobra. They have that one with a starting bid of 450 bucks.
I could see dropping 6-700 bucks for the 03-04 model but not 1200+.
I will put in a best offer bid and see what happens.

I actually went up the street to our dealership and rummaged through the promo room and found one, never opened or displayed. I'll call you later tonight if you really want it. I have piles of dealership stuff

We all change.... Not for sale anymore.....or is it? Isn't everything for sale?
Even though these are super rare, like anything else, it needs to be gotten at the right price.... More will pop up for sale in the future and hopefully kids will be out of college.... then there would be no hesitation.
