I knew it was going to happen.....sooner or later all of these show's hit it big and sell out.

I love this show and watch it all the time. As soon as sponsorship gets involved they usually all fall apart. Let's hope that doesn't happen here.........

Yes it was a Mercedes. Thank god not a Freightliner. known to some as Freight shakers.

Easy George, I drive a 'shaker and really like it, unfortunately much more than the Ford/Sterling we had. The only problem was the paint on the front bumpa, gonna get that fixed soon...

We install (and stock the Transits for dealers) interior rack and bin packages for the new Transit Connects (the smaller version) and will be when installing interior packages when the Transit comes out in June/July of this year. VERY nice van. Will be repalcing the Econoline van soon as they are phasing it out after 50 + years. The Econoline cutaway van will continue for us to install van bodies for dealers till 2020. New Transit cutaway chassis are on the horizon as well. Best selling van in Europe for almost 50 years as well. 3 different heights, 3 different lenghts, a diesel motor, it will be a big hit in the USA !!

My son is a Heavy Equipment mechanic by trade, went to college for and has traveled all over the world to fix all the big stuff including working for Caterpillar. So it's his experience you get want you pay for in a big rig.That's what mechanics call the Freightliners. He has a CDL-A and has driven diff ones but loves his Peterbuilt service truck. He has told me (as well as my neighbor who works & drives for J&F Farms in Derry and drives a Freightliner) that Freightliners general not built as nice as Pete or KW and a bumpier ride.

Question, now since most ambulances today are an E250 or E350, what will replace them?The repalcement will be the Transit.No more Econoline vans, only cutaways for Fords Chassis Pool Companies like the one I work for, only till the year 2020, then it will be all Transit.Ambulance co. will especially love them since it will now have a diesel motor in it. The Econoline does not have the newer 6.7 diesel (Ford built,not International) since it is to big to fit in the Econoline engine bay so they have lost some business because of it. The 5.4 gas motor is in the Econoline now and when they are done with them the V10 gas motor will be the only gas motor available in the Econoline. The new Transit will be available with a low,mid, and high top version (and three different wheelbases and 3 different motors,way more versital than the Econoline) which will suit ambulance etc. perfectly. Most ambulance companys build their bodys on cutaway,dual rear wheel chassis, so they can get a taller body and wider because of dual rear wheels and much less restictions on height since the body is seperate from the chassis.Now they can do the same but not having to buy a seperate body to fit on a cutaway body. Good for Ford, not so much for the body company.
