Rush the movie

Just finished watching Rush on demand. I must say what a great movie. Not what I expected.The racing was secondary the story of Nikki Lauder and James Hunt and there battles on and off the track And how they became so called friends.But most of all the respect they had for each other. Just a great Movie Ron Howard did a great job .

I saw this in the theater. Really, really impressed me. The racing was very good, but as Dennis says, it was secondary to a great movie about the relationship the two guys had. I was attending a lot of Grand Prix racing at the time of their rivalry and I remember much of what occurs in the movie. They tell it straight up, mostly. Personally I never liked either James or Nikki much as people, and the movie does nothing to change my mind, but it seems quite accurate to me - as Ron Howard usually is.
