Manchester show on saturday 8/31

CRUISING DOWNTOWN MANCHESTER -- just to be sure everyone knows what going on Saturday:

If you have preregistered and are helping with the show as part of the NH Mustang Club, we are leaving Dunkin Donuts on South Elm Street at 6:15 am and will enter the show from South Elm Street.

If you have NOT preregistered, you MUST register at the Brady Sullivan Bldg on North Elm Street. We will hold as many spots as possible with the club, but GET THERE EARLY...

We live in New England. There is ALWAYS a chance of Thunderstorms. Should be able to enjoy the day without too much worry.

I didn't go.woke up in londonderry at 530 and it was thunder and lighting pulled the covers up...

Considering the weather, the turnout wasn't too bad; probably 400 cars (the "trailer queens" were noticeably absent, as expected): still had lots of spectators. The rain stopped around 11:00 and it was dry for the rest of the day.

Didn't rain at all on Saturday in Gilford! Stormed all around us, but no rain where I was

Roads were wet first thing in the AM....by 2pm it was clear but then started raining again at 4:30

Day wasn't a total wash out as some predicted

Some got rain, some not. Plus depended on where folks had to drive from. Yes easy to look back now and say "didn't get rain" BUT was a big unknown thru the day.

Radar ... as we know it ONLY shows moderate to heavy rain. Won't show lite spot showers, happens to quickly.
