Tom (Mr03Mach1) and I are heading down to this show. Looks absolutely fabulous!
www.imperialcars.com Search "The Show" page.
We are meeting up at 2pm on Friday at the rest stop on 495 in Chelmsford MA.
I know it's short notice if you haven't seen this on other forums, but if your interested we are going and you can too.

I would, but my regional manager changed my hours without telling me a few weeks ago and I don't get out until after 4pm from Lawrence now. So pretty much by the time I get home (I'm NOT bringing my car to Lawrence) it would be too late to make the shows.
Same with Mann's. I can't make any more of those either. It sucks.
Anyone know any place looking for a PT?

Hey Ian. This Show/cruise night was the best I've been too since doing this stuff with cars bar none. (No trophies or anything so Tom and I concluded it's more of a cruise night type thing)
This was their third year doing it. It was a monster show. Tom equated it to Bass Pro Shops but with the added carnival type atmosphere, bright lights and vendors it seemed much better. (Note: I haven't been to a Bass Pro shop night to compare for myself)
We don't know how many cars ultimately came for this thing but I can tell you they had FULL trolleys of people rolling in up until 9pm. After 9 they were half full. Then we would get waves of people, as the trolley drop off was very close to where we were parked.
We heard people were there at 10 in the morning dropping off their cars to get a primo spot. We got there around 3:30 and were right out in front of the Imperial Ford building. One of the best spots IMO. I was told carnival rides were cool. Could smell some occasional rubber from the burnouts out back and T-shirts were only 6 bucks.
Cars were coming in late as well if they braved the traffic. I saw Mooch, James and another of his friends late as they had finally gotten in with his car.
Tom and I stayed with the cars all night. Too many people there to leave them and feel safe about it. Lots of young kids and stuff like that. Toms car was getting the usual "WOW" lookers at the custom plumbing that he has done. Lots of laughs and lots of fun. It was a great time.
The "promo" video was spot on. It was everything plus some.
Definitely on my list for next year already.
