Last night I ventured down to the Liberty Tree mall for the cruise night that is hosted there.
I must say that it was a great time.:) I would highly recommend for anyone to get down there at least once this year. Get there early. 5 or earlier.
I had plans to meet up with Tom and when I got there Ian and Justin were there as well.

Just one side note..... Go down 95 to get to the Mall. It may be longer mileage wise.... but it would have been better than sitting in the bumper to bumper traffic that I had to endure going down rt3 to 128 during rush hour.

It may be because I'm a little tired, but isn't 128 and 95 the same road?

Glad I'm not the only one confused...

Good cruise night.....glad I went. Was good to see ya Kevin

Not sure how frequently I'd go.....but im glad i went to it as it definitely draws a good crowd. Traffic is definitely brutal getting there.

95 and 128 are technically both the same road and separate roads. At Danvers, they split and 128 heads off to Gloucester and 95 continues north into NH and Maine. For most of MA though, 95 and 128 are the same highway.

see screen shot from a map....you can see where the two roads split

Ok.., My mistake. Let me be more clear.
I went down rt 3 from Nashua all the way down to 95. (which some of us older guys know as 128 in Burlington Mass)
From there, I got snarled in rush hour traffic til a couple of exits passed the 93 interchange.

Instead.... I should have gone rt3 to 495 heading towards the coast. Then taken 95S from there taking me to the Danvers Mass area to where the Mall is located. More miles but alot less traffic. (except on Fridays, when everyone is going to the beach or Maine)

So....If i were to go again, Thats the route I would take. If you need furthur explanations, please call.

As someone who grew up in that area, I might suggest 93S to 213E to 495S to Rt114 in North Andover. From there Rt 114 goes almost directly to the Liberty Tree Mall. I haven't traveled 114 in Danvers in a while, so it may be a parking lot at commuter time, but it should only be a short stretch. And 114 is a nice ride.

Google Map of route (https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Londonderry,+NH&daddr=42.7428769,-71.1431741+to:Liberty+Tree+Mall,+100+Independence+ Way,+Danvers,+MA&hl=en&ll=42.754071,-71.166687&spn=0.501157,1.204376&sll=42.681426,-71.141968&sspn=0.250873,0.602188&geocode=FeoRjgIdmeu--ykpsimIWk3iiTG5qZUjKdPb8w%3BFVw0jAId-nDC-ynNYtJ51QbjiTENK6vU-q4I_g%3BFRRMiQIdrYrF-yFauRTqmtzVqykrnWsb2xPjiTFauRTqmtzVqw&oq=liber&t=h&mra=dpe&mrsp=1&sz=11&via=1&z=10)

yeah 114 to the mall was the back up route. With all the lights and the congestion on 495 just getting to 114 I decided to head the other way down 93

on a side note...why are guys so obessed with directions lol.

It's our drive to compete -- whoever has the best directions "wins".
My Dad is a champ -- he's argued for HOURS about the best way to get from here to say, Virginia Beach -- drives the rest of the family nuts. And he doesn't stop with directions, he includes the extra difficultly of best mpg and best elapsed time...

My wife and oldest step-daugther are the same way. They will argue for hours about how to save 30 seconds getting somewhere that's only 15 minutes away. Drives me crazy!
