In NH, you don't need a title to complete the sale of a 23 year old car, right?

I'm buying a '90 GT 'vert, but the owner doesn't have the title. (it's owned free and clear) Anyone know it there are any hoops I need to jump through in place of a title transfer?

When i bought my car it didn't have a title either. I don't think that in NH you need one.
After you get it you have to bring it to the police station and have them run the VIN and they will "authorize it" and then pay I think it was like $50 to get a title.
This was a few years ago, so it might have changed.

Jim He needs to sign the registration over to you and along with the Bill of sale and all the info on the car Vin ETC The registration is you title I don't even think the state will print one for you I went through this last year when I sold my Shelby

If the car is over 14 years old no title is needed, just a bill of sale with VIN #. You can get temp ( 20 day ) plates with the bill of sale also to allow you to drive it home.

You've seen it. The blue/titanium one that my friend Matt drives. (drove)
It's mechanically great (only 60k miles) but body needs minor work. Needs front bumper cover replaced and front fenders replaced/banged-out after a branch fell on it.
Needs paint too, but that's way in the future.

This is a pic from when Matt bought it in 08.

Very nice Jim.....i have always loved that car. congrats!!

If I was you, I'd keep it as stock as possible......wheels are an easy change, but stay away from 5 lug conversion. Clean examples like that are few and far in between.
I'd proably throw on a set of the 17" pony 4 lug wheels, but bullits are a great choice too.

Some day I'd love to have another one
