I have been looking for a convertible for the summer to help save miles off my daily work commute in the 2012 Mustang. I wasn't really looking for a Mustang but this came together last night and like most people I always wanted a fox body.
This one is a 1990 LX 5.0 5-speed stick convertible and it's also a 7-Up promo car which makes it green with a white top and the awful white interior, haha. The car came from Texas and the floor pans and suspension don't even have surface rust on them. The car is bone stock to the airbox except it has a flowmaster catback (which I'm starting to think is a factory option). It was repainted 7-8 years ago and looks pretty decent. It has 117k on it so it's been driven but still feels pretty good other than the flexible noodle chassis flex when you turn the wheel or drive over a bump.
I picked it up last night so the pictures are dark. It came with Pony 5 stars and I also got the original Turbines with decent tires on them. I'm planning to install subframe connectors and strut tower brace and then just drive it around and have some fun with it.
Pictures are from last night loading it on the trailer.
