Decided to go into my garage today and clean the crap that I've collected on my bench over the winter, and clean the floor from where Jen parks and has accumulated 6" of dirt from her car.
When I was done I just kept starirng at the mustang and I said, "today's the day"
8 pumps on the gas peddal, and 2 turns of the ignition and she comes alive!! I still love how she just starts right up. Ran it up to temp and no major leaks, just the normal stuff.
Was going to take her out but there's a ladder right up against the driver's side tires that I was just too lazy to take out. Maybe an Easter run if its nice out.

Great to hear, Todd! I'm jealous! In the current condition I can just manage to get my car to the end of the driveway and back. Just got the rear shock tower brace fitted - now it needs welding. Pics later on the winter thread.

My battery is in garage on a battery tender, it's an orig looking Autolite battery that cost ~ $300. gotta be nice to it. Still have ~ 2' in front of trailer, so I hope Memorial Day it comes out for Clock Tower show. lol

Nice, Its almost time,. I actually just put a new battery in my Saleen last night and cranked it over.. Batterry dies over the winter, tried the trickle charge but I think it was too late... battery was 6 yrs old..

sure sounded and felt nice to start her up..., now we just need some warmer weather to melt down whats left out there for snow and maybe a nice rain shower or two to rinse the roads !!

Wont be long now !...

i like the enthusiasm , we are getting close

Fri - Sunday all supposed to be in the mid 50's so that will take care of the snow. I hate to say it, but we need some rain now to come wash the salt and sand off the roads

Cool beans Todd, if all goes to plan, the body of ours is getting squirted at the end of this or beginning of next week. He has some of the small body pieces already painted. gonna do the body and then re attach the fenders and stuff after. Very Carefully though...Good tohear your car is runnin...
