I remember that car. It was the yellow convert right?
I should be around to watch some of it. Maybe, depending on what I've got going on, I'll have a B.J party in the garage and down in the billards room. We'll see!!

I'm actually suprised at the price of some of these cars. For the first day they are getting some good money!!! An "original" '65 fastback with some GT options just went for 37K. Not too shabby for day one!

My 1st car was a 67 Camaro and do miss it. So I love the 67/68 RS/SS Camaro's. I like cars that are diff. Couple sold for I thought fair $$$. Love to own one. I looked at the list of classic stangs for sale to see if anything list close to my 67 vert, nothing on the list. I do love to 50's pickups too.

An '08 (I think, it might have been a '07) Shelby 500 with less than 20K on it went for $34,500. I thought that was fair. Looks like it's going to be a good week.

Just watching it again tonight and did anyone notice on the big screen with the current bid, down on the bottom there's a Monthly Payment price for the current bid?
Thought that was kind of funny!! With all the money there, people are still financing their toys!!

Agreed Denis, I think that this is one of the better Quality Auctions that I've seen in a long time. I've been flipping on and off all day. Was suprised the Green Hornet didn't go. Now lets see the Batmobile go in three cars!!!

Holy snikers Batman!!!! 4.2 million!!! I was thinking 1.5-2 max, I guess I was wrong.
And then the guy went on TV and said his full name, Richard Champagne and where he lived, in a town right outside of Flagstaff, I forget what he said, but he did say it!!
Best thing was that at the end him and the guy in front were bidding against each other and they flipped a coin for it. Wowwzers Batman, that was awsome!!!

And it still had the FORD emblem on the side of the car.

Yup, I once saw a guy that had SVO, SVTs and other Mustangs and he built his house around them. So there was one in the living room, one in the family room, one in the dining room, ect. He had like 10-15 cars in his house as decore.

At the end I wanna hear the trend summaries. If I miss, please post. Like to know what cars, brands IF any are hot. I think we know prices are up. That would be an unofficial take on economy I'd think. BUT then I'd think people with that much money don't care what mess the economy is in.

Batmobile cars seem to be bringing decent money -- $4.2 million...
