America’s top automakers including Ford, Chrysler, and General Motors, will temporarily close all US plants due to the coronavirus outbreak, according a source familiar with the discussion.
Vice President of communications at Ford Mark Truby tweeted (https://twitter.com/mtruby/status/1240324958498234371) on Wednesday that Ford will temporarily suspend production following Thursday evening shifts.

Doesn't surprise me.
How many more companies will close and idle their employees.
I know that My company could do that in a minute.

Nobody is buying cars right now anyway. Soon there will be nowhere to go in them anyway with everything shut down. Just take it a few miles once in a while so the pads don't bond to the rotors...

Most of the dealerships I visit have kept most of their staff depending on size of dealership and ownership. No Ford reps are on the road.
