Hi,

I am a Mustang Owner (just ready to receive my first 1970 F/B) in a couple of weeks.
I am from Scotland, however frequently travel to New Hampshire in the summer. This year will be 9th July - 16th July

Could any members advise me regarding stores where I can pick up some parts and accessories in Concord/Conway (or anywhere between there and Boston).
In particular looking for an aftermarket Steering Wheel Kit, replacement emblems. The list will grow between now and July.

Thanks for any help

Thanks for the welcome. I have put a small album on my profile. need to get more pics.
Its a 1970 Sportsroof. Imported in 2016, not been on the UK roads yet. was a 302 but I'm getting a 351w built for it just now. With a trans and Prop and some other bits I should be ready to go in a couple of weeks. Manual Drum/Drum brakes for use this summer and will upgrade to Disc/Drum over the winter.

Thanks 390gtconv,

Cjpony and NPD are very well used here, we do quite a bit with Summit Racing as well.

I was just wondering if there were any walk around stores for Classic Mustangs. I will however be looking to stock up on some of the things you mentioned:-
Filters
Gaskets
bulbs
Transmission Service kit

Don't know what brake kit I will use yet, more than likely the Wilwood, so pads etc will be next year.

I am still wondering, if anyone has any good ideas about which Booster and MC to upgrade to. I am Drum/Drum Manual just now but will do the upgrade in the winter. No specific kits available for the 1970, and the 69 has a different link (teardrop) to the pedal, so it may be a 69 kit I need with a 69 auto pedal, if that works.

thanks for any advice

Graeme

Hi, best bet on brakes and kits other than stock be to ask that questions on the VMF forum. Many great helpful folks there.
My 67 is mostly all stock, even the factory front disc brakes.

As far as mustang walk around stores here, maybe years ago but not anymore. The closest is Mustangs Unlimited in Conn.

Thanks, I will get to see my car in the next week or so, see what it needs and what I want to add. I don't arrive in NH until July so time to make a list of the small things to get.

thanks again
