Just booked 2 tickets for Saturdays auction at Mohegan Sun on June 25th. It's their inaugural event in the northeast and it should be a blast to go for the day to look at some cars, sit in at the auction, eat ,drink, gamble a little. $40 a ticket and an easy 2 hour drive. It should be fun. Anyone else going ???

The 25th is a SATURDAY and Mohegan isn't spelled with a SUNDAY at the end as far as I know, so I'm going on SATURDAY the 25th to Mohegan Sun not Mohegan Sunday, does that help? Who's on first, no who's on second:confused: ........ Check your tickets, you probably got tickets to the Mopar show at Foxwoods on Wednesday LOL

$85.They are $85 for all 3 days, $40 for the big day on Sat. Thurs and Fri cheaper. Hotels are expensive in the immediate area. When I visit my Ford dealers down there soon, I will scope out some places to stay just outside the area that will be cheaper.

In my opinion they won't....HD + lighting makes a huge difference.

For those NOT at Pizza meeting, there appeared to be several folks there that said they were all going as well. So just as a club, maybe over a dozen going.
Perhaps as we get closer to this, some can exchange contact if so we may meet up there. I'm just going Sat with my son the finally day as I think many are.

I just saw on SVT forums that the very first prototype 2016 GT350 Hertz Edition will be auctioned off at Barrett Jackson in Conn. in June. Full story on their website. Just some more added excitement for the weekend. I guess I'll bring my checkbook !!

You have to have you line of credit in place prior to the auction,But you knew that already.That GT350 if number is 001 its at least 250K and thats a low estimate.

Should be a great event. Now that we are going with a VIP, it'll even be better. Once the Barrett Jackson people recognize him, I'm sure we will be shuttled into the catered VIP lounge......high rollers only!

I returned last night from the auction with my son, must say a diff experience than watching on tv besides NO commercials. lol
Did see Richard Rawlings & friend Dennis from Gas Monkey, also saw Cristy Lee outside. Also saw Wayne Corini from Chasing Classic cars.
Nice to see cars before and after auctions outside along with all the vendors. Well run, big event. This event was listed as SOLD OUT.

No purchases made did have a great time. Spent some time with Gary Patterson senior VP with Shelby Talked about the Turlinger Mustang they had there.Hadn't seen him since SAAC at Watkins A couple of years ago
Very well run event and some great cars
