Picture software question

Hey all,

So I finally got around to getting the pictures off my camera for Canobie/Sunapee. I want to reduce the file size before I upload them, any suggestions for free software to do so ?

For a PC? Irfanview.
www.irfanview.com Free, does resizing, minor enhancements and can open and save-as almost any format you can think of. I've been using it for over 10 years.

Online, if you save them to photobucket, you can then edit them, including resizing, I believe.
