The Fox must have gotten a hold of my credit card.

I received three big boxes, about 50 lbs -- from Late Model Resto.
Tomorrow, Fedex is dropping off 90lbs in another few boxes from another vendor...

I wonder what it all could be.....?

A box of weights, my guess 2 45#. and 2 25#. Helps keep the trunk weighted down in the winter.

Too light to be a crate motor! :p

Maybe one of them is a intake system? TFS or Systemax? Suspension parts? ;)

Nope. Nobody's even close yet.
Here are a couple of hints

If I can get some time to work on the car, you might get to see some of these at the July 12 show at Budweiser.

Second one looks like seats or upholstery. But if that's so, I had an advantage in that guess. :D

Yeah, That guy is (or was) nuts. The car's been listed for months. He started at 28k if I remember. The price is getting more reasonable, but I still think it's a little high.

Anyway, no -- I'm not looking anymore. If I had found one earlier (even that one for a reasonable price) I might have pulled the trigger. But now I'm taking some of the proceeds from the Cobra to fix up the Fox and using the rest for some home improvements.

Good plan.

So, so the new parts are in and on the car. You'll have to find my car at the show tomorrow and see....

I just looked at Craiglist again. The same car is there, now listed for $13K. Like I said above, he started at 26 or 28. He probably lost an easy sale by being too greedy -- if he had started at say, $16, I probably would've gone to take a look -- and if it was decent bought it, since it's pretty much what I was looking for. But since he was asking such stupidly ridiculous money, I didn't even bother to offer.

Now I'm a couple grand into the 1990, and having a good time with it.

Moral of the story: Sure, everyone wants to get as much as possible for their car, but by being greedy, he lost out on an easy sale and is still sitting on the car 3 months later. Don't be a greedy dumbass.
