2016 Camaro?

So, what you think? To me it's a bit sleeker, but also a bit more generic. And whats up with the windows? They're tiny. Looks like they used an armored car as inspiration for the greenhouse.

I always thought the previous one looked like a pickup truck, at least they lost some of the over-bulky look. I hope there's some bad-ass cooling going on in that huge lower grille. Or is it just an homage to the "catfish" Camaro?

I will give them credit on the interior. Very nice -- easily the equal of the new Mustang.

Actually, I think it looks more like a recent Charger than a Camaro.

Looks like Chevy is envying that "mouth" look that I dislike in recent Ford designs, both on their nose and echoing it in the center of the dashboard. Also looks like maybe they stole the wing from my 94 Stang.

All that said, I like it better so far than recent Camaros, but I reserve judgment until I see the tail.

The current one was not kind to tall drivers. Doesn't appear this one any better. Also Chevy says they made it lighter, how much lighter because at least couple hundred heavier than stang. As for blind spots & poor visability, not looking any better. Also said to be a bit shorter and narrower. Boy it sure doesn't look like gonna be any fun to work on.

Just noticed from another story, they've put humps in the roof for height, and the front to me no longer looks like a Camaro. And I owned 3 in my younger days. 1967, 1975, 1981.

It's kinda weird. It seems like they tried to take the current Camaro and make it more approachable-- essentially making it less aggressive. But this is the same company that took another automotive icon -- the Corvette -- and hit it out of the park with the styling on the new Stingray. Whether you like the new design or not, the new Vette is aggressive, purposeful and absolutely not going to be mistaken for anything other then a Corvette. (well, perhaps a Ferrari, but I'm thinking GM doesn't really mind that...)

This Camaro -- well it looks sorta like a Camaro, but i also see Hyundai Tiberon/Veloster, a little Nissan GTR and perhaps a squeeze of Challenger in there.
Seems like the design team was told not to rock the styling boat.... While I don't mind the new design, it just doesn't scream Camaro the way the last one did.

...oh well, not like they had to worry about me buying one anyway....
