Haha. A little while? Think again.....
I will be in my 60's by the time you get a chance to get back out with the car. You'll easily miss a whole decade man.
Nice knowing you. Lol

well this certainly has left me feeling encouraged. Should I just sell it then?

It's not that bad. I got INTO Mustangs (for the 2nd time after a decade absence) when I already had a toddler. Yeah, you aren't probably going to do as many mods for it, but you can still drive it and enjoy it. And what better way to bond with your proto-Mustanger than by going for cruises in it and bringing them to ED day, TASCA, etc.? My daughter came with me to a bunch of those events. I was able to instill an appreciation of Mustangs and muscle cars. She swears she'll never date anyone who drives a Honda.
Of course, if you're gonna send 'em Ivy League.... well....

It's damaged and will have unoriginal paint. In the Termie World the value just plummeted

I can't wait either.
Ian, sell now. Take the money and put it in the college fund. You'll be happy you did.
