Mercedes-Benz V12 from a CL600, custom mounted Lyshom 3500 supercharger, homemade adapter plate for twin throttle bodies from a Volvo 960, Vems ECU with custom 24-channel spark power amplifier, 4x ignition coils from a Saab V6 24 valve, custom made intake plenum, custom headers in 5/8 stainless steel, sidepipes in 4-inch stainless with 3-inch’ inserts, custom oil sump and relocated oil filter, custom copper radiator in the front and aluminum radiator in the rear, 2x Bosch Motorsport 044 fuel pumps

All that time, money and effort and ONLY put down 492 hp to the rear wheels on 5psi?!?!? complete waste. All the bad attributes of a big motor in that little car ++ even more weight because of the blower.

You could make more power, have better balance with a turbo 302. I get it..it's got the cool factor, V12 stuffed into a AC cobra.

I don't know... 500 hp in something that weighs.. what, 2100lbs? That's probably sphinter-tightening.
The original 427 Cobras had about 400hp IIRC? And did 0-100-0 in something like 14 secs.

Granted this thing is probably ridiculously front heavy with that monster crammed in it, but DAMN it looks impressive.

of course I do...and that car was awesome. N/A 460 is a good set up in a AC cobra... a supercharged v12 is not lol
