The new Ford GT. Looks like a love it or hate it design.

Personally, I love it. Maybe all of you "it's not the same as the old one" crowd just need to see it properly represented.

Jim, I do have to admit it looks MUCH better in Gulf Racing attire than that dark blue thing ever will. It would probably look decent in silver, too.
The new Mustang looks its worst in that blue as well, as some of us saw at the Providence Auto Show last year.

Still like the older 2006 version. More true to orig one.
New one looks just stupid expensive, may go 300mph but who cares, no place to do it.

Don't worry Bruce....here's a fun fact...that blue color is just for show. It won't be offered. Same with the GT350R , Ford felt it accentuated the lines of the car very well so they painted the car that color.
In production, the GT350 wheels will be black, not that off gray.
Check it on the google for yourself

Blue is generally my favorite color, but not all cars look good in blue. I actually considered buying my 94 Stang in blue or teal but the only ones I could find were automatics. Then I saw the Laser Red and there were no other choices!
I just don't think that this GT or the 2015 Stang look good in blue.

well you don't have to worry, these are show only, not production colors. Now you can get your GT350R in white :)

That car looks great!
Of all the reports I've read on it so far I've yet to see what the price will be on it.
What have you been seeing?
Didn't they sell for around $140,000 in 05 and 06? Those cars have taken off too.

If this one sells for less than $300k I'll be surprised.
The last one was an amazing sports car, but it's lineage was still basically a muscle car with world-class handling. It basically competed with -- and was designed specifically to beat -- the Ferrari 360 which was Ferrari's "entry-level" sports car at the time.
This version of the GT is a super high-tech, exotic car. It's using exotic materials, super technology, all the stuff that Ferrari and Porsche are using in their high end cars. If Ford is going to put a horse in that race, the price point is going to have to be comparable and people are going have to pay dearly for the privilege.
This is going to be a "Halo Car" like nothing any American manufacturer has ever made.

The "Gulf" blue may not be available, but if ya can afford a new GT, don't tell me you can't flip the cabbage for a paint job...

All of this.....I would expect this car to be in the 200 +K range. It's a race car for the street, a completely different animal than the 05/06

The Car's will end up in big collections They have seen how much the remakes have increased in just a short time doubling in value and they will sit on them.Other than the ones that are raced.
