It's funny how people interpret vanity plates. As most of you know I have "WHIPLED" as my vanity plate.
I got it because I have a Whipple supercharger on the car. I didnt expect people to "get" what it meant outside of the car world. But I thought most people would catch the play of the word I used because of the supercharger.
Come to find out, I have two friends with completely different thoughts.
The first one thought I was making a play on words of "Whip and lead". Meaning the Mustang is named after a horse and that I was somehow whipping my car into the lead. Hence Whip-led.
The second friend thought I was making a play on the words "Why and Plead". As when you get caught speeding "Why plead" with the officer.
Now I'm wondering if there are more explanations out there for the plate. Pretty funny.
